What is Hemp?
It is the same type of plant as cannabis. Its scientific name is Cannabis sativa. The amount of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol in hemp is much lower than in cannabis (THC).
Cannabinoids like cannabidiol (CBD), cannabidivarin (CBDV), cannabigerol (CBG), and others are also found in both plants. There are fats, proteins, and other chemicals in hemp seeds.
