What is depression?
Depression is a mood disorder that makes you feel sad and lose interest all the time. It can also be called clinical depression or major depressive disorder. It affects how you feel, thinks, and act, and it can lead to a number of emotional and physical problems. You might have trouble doing normal day-to-day things, and you might feel like life isn’t worth living sometimes.
Depression is more than just the blues. It’s not a sign of weakness, and you can’t just “snap out of it.” Depression may need to be treated for a long time.
