Our Sleep Cycle
Sleep isn’t always the same. Instead, your sleep is made up of several rounds of the sleep cycle, which has four stages. A person goes through four to six sleep cycles in a typical night1. The length of each sleep cycle varies, but on average, each one lasts about 90 minutes.
