What is CBD Distillate and why is it better?

The last many years we have all learnt that CBD Full Spectrum oils are the best way to take CBD. Made from the flowers and leaves of the Hemp plant with CO2 Extraction – and you would have the best product! CBD Distillate is the new “kid on the block”. But what is CBD distillate and why is it better?

What is CBD Distillate?

Distillation is defined as:

  • The action of purifying a liquid by a process of heating and/or cooling. Distillation is a process that creates concentrates that are “cleaner” than other concentrates in that they’re pure on a molecular level.

CBD distillateDistillates are also one of the most potent types of concentrates that exist.

Distillation of hemp allows for the extraction of cannabinoids that offer a pure, versatile, and potent product that has unlimited potential as far as usage is concerned.

Distillation uses heat to vaporize cannabinoids. This vapour is then collected in the distillation cooling system. This eliminates everything from the cannabinoids, including plant matter and chlorophyll.

In turn this creates a very clean, very concentrated liquid that is also completely solvent-free. The distillate can then be put into everything. And the benefit, obviously, is that there is nothing in it except the desired cannabinoids.

There’s a reason people in the hemp industry sometimes refer to CBD distillate as The Pure. That’s exactly what it is. A product that’s virtually pure cannabinoids.

Why is CBD Distillate better?

Now you understand what hemp distillate is and a little about how it is made. Then you can also imagine that it’s not only CBD distillate you can make from hemp. You can make CBG, CBC, CBN, THC, THCV distillate …. any cannabinoid from hemp or cannabis, in a very concentrated clean pure form.

This mean we can make different compositions for different conditions. We are no longer “slaves” to what amount of each cannabinoids, there are in a CBD extract, coming from one type of hemp. We can mix and match and add subtract, until we find the best “recipe” for a condition, all according to the individual cannabinoid’s benefit and stronghold.

CBD destillate has almost no smell and no taste because all the terpenes dissapered under the vaporization.

Something great about the potency of hemp distillates is that you can use less of them than other traditional CBD products to achieve the desired effects. Thus you don’t need to consume as much product.
